What is a Mission Statement

Before listing some Sample Mission Statements, here is a definition.

It is a clear and succinct representation of the enterprise's purpose for existence. That is what it stands for i.e. what broad products or services it intends to offer customers. To write mission statement you need to be clear on this.

It is different from the vision statement which indicates where the enterprise what to be in a set number of years ahead.

Formulating this statement is a key step in creating a business strategy
